We are the Butcher family, Jesse, Dee, Lane,Dylan, and Emerson Rose. We are missionary evangelist from King, NC.
Our family travels this great country where I (Jesse) preach and our family sings bluegrass gospel music. I accepted Jesus as my savior in 1988 as a nine year old boy and Dee was saved in 2007. Dee and I have been married for 20 years and are college sweethearts.
Married in 2002, I was a deputy sheriff and Dee worked in management for a retail pharmacy. In 2004, we welcomed our first son, Lane into the world and in 2007 our second son, Dylan was born. In June of 2006 our lives were completely changed when Dee had an accident and soon after began to battle chronic pain.
For almost 14 years she has struggled severely with widespread pain. Although we have endured some dark times we have seen the truth of Romans 8:28 and God has used this trial for our good. All things may not be good in our lives but all things do work together for good to them who love God!
In 2011, after feeling for sometime that God was calling me to ministry, I surrendered to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ! Our family felt that God’s calling on our lives was evangelism and God has opened so many doors for us to minister across the country in the past 8 almost 9 years, God has allowed us to hold revivals, youth meetings, homecomings, concerts, Bible schools, couples meetings, and so much more! Along with preaching, Jesse plays the guitar, Dee plays the piano and fiddle, Lane (who is 15) plays the banjo and bass, and Dylan (who is 12) plays the mandolin, guitar, and piano.
We love what God has called us to do and we want the world to see that Jesus Christ truly is the answer!
